TRF Annual Awards
Each year at the Annual Forum, TRF presents several awards:
- President’s Award made to an outstanding transportation professional
- Distinguished Transportation Researcher Award
- Herbert O. Whitten TRF Service Award made to a TRF member whose contributions have played an important role in the history of the organization
- Best Paper Award at the Annual Forum
- Graduate Student Best Paper Award at the Annual Forum
- Agricultural & Rural Transportation Paper Award at the Annual Forum (awarded 2007 to 2010)
- Best Student Agricultural Paper Award, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture
- Best Poster Award at the Annual Forum (began 2022)
