Abstract submission opened on September 1, 2016 and will remain open until Wednesday, November 30.? Authors should express their preferences for:

? special half-day program for graduate students
? podium presentation at regular conference
? poster presentation at regular conference

The conference committee reserves the right to assign papers between podium and poster sessions.

Authors need to submit an extended abstract of the equivalent of two to four pages describing the problem statement, methodology (and if appropriate data sources) and findings.? They can either enter this as (a) text in the box on the submission form, or (b) as a PDF file.? To submit the abstract as a PDF file enter ?See attached file? in the abstract box, and then attach the PDF under the ?Enter your slides? option.

Authors will be notified of paper acceptance by January 5, 2017.

Papers presented in podium sessions will be assigned discussants.? For a paper to be presented in a podium session the full paper must be submitted by February 28, 2017.

If your work will be presented as a poster, we also require submission of the full paper by March 27, 2017.

Papers will be made available to conference participants through the conference website, but TRF will not request copyright.? Authors will be free to also submit their papers to journals including the Journal of the Transportation Research Forum.

Several prizes will be awarded to papers presented at the conference, including:

? best paper
? best paper solely authored by a student or students.
